I used to be an electrician who often came up short,

All day long while working I'd be sipping on a quart.

Sometimes the job would turn out well,

Sometimes sparks would erupt,

But on every job without a doubt, I was all lit up!

Today life is much brighter, I put a plug into the jug,

And I'm getting all my power from the big guy up above!
